Sunil Prakash’s career in the finance industry began in the early 1980s in Fiji. In 1989, he migrated to New Zealand and commenced a banking career with New Zealand’s largest bank where he worked in various divisions of the bank such as Credit Litigation, Business Manager, Financial Adviser and Business Risk Adviser. In 2011, Sunil Prakash Financial Services Limited commenced business providing, lending and insurance services. Holding a Diploma in Business Studies endorsed in Personal Financial Planning from Massey University. Member of Financial Advice NZ (previously Institute of Financial Advisers) for over 15 years. In November 2020, Sunil was awarded the Financial Advice NZ Trusted Advisor mark. He has a CLU_CM designation from Financial Advice NZ.
